MEASURING HEAD ADJUSTMENT
The measuring jaw moves vertically and laterally. Lateral zero: the measuring face is flush with the outer face of the fixed head; right is negative. Vertical zero: the upper jaw surface is flush with the rail seating plane; downward is positive. Retract the jaw above the seating plane and lock it after use.
